The joint quarterly meeting between NASP and the DVSA, held virtually in September 2024, brought together senior representatives from both sides to discuss key issues impacting the driving instruction industry. The meeting covered a wide range of topics, including updates on driving test waiting times, examiner recruitment, and the DVSA’s communications strategies. NASP also raised several concerns, including the availability of driving tests in specific areas and the impact of examiner shortages. This report summarises the key outcomes and ongoing initiatives discussed during the meeting.
